Library book sale Friday and Saturday

The Friends of the Douglas County Library will host a two-day used book sale Friday and Saturday at the Minden Branch of the Douglas County Public Library, 1625 Library Lane.

The sale will feature hardback and paperback fiction and nonfiction, vintage, teen, and children’s books, puzzles, and more.

A preview sale for members of Friends of the Library will be from noon to 3 p.m. Friday. Nonmembers can join at the door.

Members of the Friends receive a 10 percent discount on all purchases throughout the sale.

Beginning at 3 p.m. on Friday the sale will open to the public and will continue on 10 am to 4 pm Saturday from, with a half-price sale from 3-4 p.m.

Donations of one or two bags or small boxes of books are accepted at the library during regular hours. For larger donations, contact the library at info@douglas.lib.nv.us or 775-782-9841.

Proceeds from the book sales are used by the Friends to support library programs and projects for infants, preschoolers, children, “tweens,” teens and adults.
