C-111 NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

The Indian Hills General Improvement

District Board of Trustees invites sealed

proposals for the project entitled North Hobo

Tank Painting Project, to be received at the

Lumos & Associates Carson City Office,

located at 308 N. Curry Street, Suite #200,

Carson City, Nevada 89703, until 2:00 p.m.

local time on September 9th, 2024, and then

publicly opened and read aloud in the Lumos

Conference Room.

The project is in Indian Hills GID, Nevada

on Hobo Hot Springs Road, at the treatment

plant adjacent to US HWY 395. The proposed

project includes cleaning and blasting of

existing paint and coatings on the interior

and exterior, recoating the interior, repainting

the exterior, and installation of various tank

accessories including air gap, sample port,

tank vent, and external liquid level indicator

on the North Hobo Tank. The North Hobo

Tank is 188,000-gallons and serves the

lower pressure zone within the District. The

Engineer’s estimate is between $150,000 and

$200,000.

Construction on the project is anticipated to

begin in October 2024 and end in November

2024.

No pre-bid meeting will be held.

obtained on August 19th at 1:00 pm at the

A non-refundable deposit of $25.00 will be

charged to log into the plan room to obtain

each set of Plans and Contract Documents.

A bid security for not less than five percent

(5%) of the amount must accompany each

proposal. Performance and payment bonds

equal to 100% of the contract amount will

be required upon award of the contract,

which is anticipated to be made on or about

September 18th, 2024. Prevailing wages

must be paid on this contract.
