Carson Valley Health earns national CMS four-star rating

Carson Valley Health announced its Overall Hospital Quality Four Star Rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

This measure considers 46 hospital quality metrics. Of the 4,658 hospitals nationwide approximately 16 percent are rated four-stars.

Carson Valley Health is the only hospital in Northern Nevada, the only critical access hospital in Nevada, and one of only four hospitals in the state to earn a four-star rating. There are no hospitals in Nevada with a five-star rating.

The hospital is anticipating opening its new expansion next month.
