Public Hearing

A meeting of the Douglas County Planning Commission will be held on

September 10, 2024, at 1:00 pm, in the Douglas County Commissioner

Meeting Room at the Historic Courthouse, 1616 Eighth Street, Minden.

The Planning Commission reserves the right to: take items in a different

order; combine two or more agenda items for consideration; remove

items from the agenda; and/or delay discussions relating to an item on

the agenda at any time.

For possible action: Discussion to approve, conditionally approve,

deny or continue the Major Design Review application DP 24-0169

to allow an 80-foot (monopole) cell tower and associated network

equipment within a 15-foot by 25-foot fenced equipment area, to include

network cabinets and a standby diesel generator. The subject property

is located at 1699 County Road, Minden, NV in the Public Facility (PF)

zoning district within the Minden Community Plan. The applicant is

Chris Hatch of Epic Wireless on behalf of Verizon Wireless. The property

owner is East Fork Fire Protection District. APN: 1320-30-802-004

equipment area, to include network cabinets and a standby diesel

generator. The subject property is located at 1450 Stephanie Way,

Minden, NV in the Public Facility (PF) zoning district within the Johnson

Lane Community Plan. The applicant is Chris Hatch of Epic Wireless

on behalf of Verizon Wireless. The property owner is East Fork Fire
