The Chateau at Gardnerville is inviting the community to join in celebrating the season with a performance by The Chateau Carolers 11 a.m. Dec. 21, followed by a holiday luncheon for residents and guests.
The Chateau Carolers are a group of residents from the Assisted Living and Connections memory care program at The Chateau, led by Life Enrichment Director, Lisette A. D’Egidio. The caroling group has been preparing a selection of holiday songs to share with fellow residents, staff, and community members.
The performance will take place in the main common area, with the lunch to follow in the dining room.
“This is a great opportunity to celebrate the season and bring everyone together through music,” said Chateau Executive Directors Katie Nichols. “The residents have been practicing diligently, and we’re excited to share this event with the community.”
Residents have been decorating their doors since the day after Thanksgiving with seasonal themes as part of a friendly competition, according to the Chateau.
The judging will take place on Thursday, and winners will be announced during the community’s Holiday Celebration Luncheon on Dec. 21.
The Chateau at Gardnerville is located at 1565 Virginia Ranch Road.
