Forgery lab nets woman suspended sentence

A California woman received a suspended 2-5-year prison sentence on Monday in connection with a forgery laboratory found at a Minden motel.

Nicole Cathreen Bianchi, 36, was arrested on March 14, 2023, at Quality Inn Suites, where several forms of identification were located along with two laptops, a copier, fax, and scanner machine, and a card-cutter, which was allegedly used to forge identification documents.

She was arrested with co-offender Salvatore August Limina, who was sentenced to eight years in prison in June.

Bianchi was given credit for 62 days.

• A man who stole multiple items from Target faces up to five years in prison.

William Tylor Gilliland, 36, was arrested Feb. 8 for burglary from a business. According to court documents, the case might have been part of a greater scheme because several Targets were targeted and there was a Facebook store where the items were reposted for sale.

Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 27, 2025.

• A woman who stole from Petco in the Carson Valley Plaza was taken into the custody on Monday to serve a jail sentence.

Kimberly Troy Stallings, 29, was arrested in October in connection to a burglary at Petco.

Stallings was sentenced to a suspended 24-60 months in prison and ordered to serve 90 days in the Douglas County Jail as a condition. She was given credit for 31 days.

Co-offender, Brandee Lynn Passey, 33, is also facing a prison term. Her sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 21, 2025.

• A man attempting to hitchhike near Chicago Mike’s admitted to possession of methamphetamine on Monday. 

Frank William Cavataio, 38, was arrested April 1 in possession of .4 grams of methamphetamine, two pipes, drug residue, and a bag containing the meth.

Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 27, 2025.
