Genoa, Nev. — The final reading of the ordinances required to issue $51 million in bonds to build the Douglas County Justice Center to be located off Buckeye Road. Site work has been underway west of the road for the last few months.
A public hearing for the ordinance banning truck traffic between Johnson Lane and Stephanie Way will likely heard by commissioners sometime after lunch today.
Commissioners will also issue a proclamation in honor of Walt Nowosad whose last meeting is today. The commission meets 10 a.m. today at the Douglas County Courthouse, 1616 Eighth St., in Minden.
Washoe Housing Authority in Gardnerville will receive $800,000 to increase its housing infrastructure, the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco announced on Wednesday.
