SB Builders, formerly Shaheen Beauchamp Builders, a general contracting firm specializing in commercial projects that has built millions of square feet in Northern Nevada, has completed two significant remodel projects in Stateline.
The projects include extensive upgrades to the regionally-known Sushi Pier restaurant as well as a full-scale remodel of the Tahoe Nugget Casino, an international tourist destination.
The Tahoe Nugget Casino remodel, a design-assist endeavor, was a multi-year collaboration between SB Builders, the architect and the owner of the existing restaurant space where the casino now resides.
Spanning 8,700 square feet, the project features tongue-and-groove wood paneling, extensive masonry stonework and custom light fixtures. The remodel began in October 2023 and concluded in
The Sushi Pier remodel was completed in under two months so as to minimize impact to restaurant income. The project includes a comprehensive kitchen upgrade with a new cookline and upgraded equipment. Work began on Oct. 1 and finished on Nov. 19.
