Emergency medical personnel received a donation of over 100 stuffed collector bears from Raley’s Food For Families.

The bears were donated to the Carson Valley Health Emergency Department and East Fork Fire first responders. These bears provide comfort during a scary time for our youngest residents experiencing health emergencies.

Raley’s customers purchased the bears for $10-12 and proceeds going Food For Families to help alleviate hunger in their communities. The Raley’s in Gardnerville was the top store in the entire company for holiday donations this season. Donations made at Raley’s (or online) stay local to aid the communities in which they were made, and Raley’s covers all administrative costs for Food For Families, ensuring one hundred percent of donations benefit food bank partners and those in need.
