When the Holy Spirit gives you direction and puts a goal or dream in your heart, it becomes easy to become too quick on the trigger to make it happen too quickly. Timing is everything. It is all under God’s control, not yours. Waiting for God’s time is never wasted time. Time is essential in developing two qualities that you need, “Faith” and “Hope.” When you have a God-given goal, your very first thought should be, “How can I help God accomplish this?” Always remember, God is not in the disappointing business. God says, Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. (Jeremiah 33:3) Once you truly believe that the Lord can do what He says, then your patience can truly make a positive presence in your life. Most of us truly do not like the word patience and see it as wasted time. (Isaiah 40:31) But those who wait on the Lord, Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Do you have a problem with having patience? Do you cry out to God in your heart and spirit to hurry up because something might come to late for you? My word for you today is “Hope”. Hope will not disappoint you. Let’s all get up today and walk with our heads held high, by having full confidence that, (Philippians 1:6) Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Make this “Faith” declaration upon yourself today, “Today is my day and I will be strong in the Lord!” Start every day with this and you will stay on your course with the Lord beside you. Have a blessed day.
