Woman accused of selling methamphetamine

A Sun Valley woman appeared in East Fork Justice Court on Monday accused in connection with the sale of a pound of methamphetamine.

Kerry Lyn Humphries, 55, is free awaiting a charging decision by the Douglas County District Attorney’s Office.

She was booked into Douglas County Jail on June 27 on multiple charges of trafficking, sales of a controlled substance, and allegedly selling the drugs in the presence of a child.

According to prosecutor William Murphy, Humphries conducted multiple transactions including one involving 125 grams on June 13. He said the most recent transaction was June 26.

Her bail was lowered to $25,000 cash or bond on Friday, and she appeared out of custody on Monday. She was ordered to return to court on July 15.

• Three men were arrested for attempting to elude deputies over the weekend.

All three appeared in East Fork Justice Court on Monday morning.

Minden resident Alec Robert Felter, 33, was booked for felony eluding and driving under the influence, reckless driving on Saturday night.

East Fork Justice of the Peace Paul Gilbert set bail at $1,000 cash or bond.

“Some of your alleged actions on Saturday night concern me,” Gilbert said, setting a July 17 hearing date.

Valley resident Dylan Jacob Marin, 34, and Elko resident Dustin John Greener, 32, were booked early Sunday morning on charges of eluding, reckless driving and obstructing an officer. Both men were released on their own recognizance and ordered to return to court July 31.
