The Sheridan Acres Volunteer Fire Department.
The Sheridan Volunteer Fire Department is conducting its annual dinner and concert on Aug. 17 at the Fire Station, 980 Sheridan Lane.
Tickets for the dinner and concert are $40 per person. Kids under 12 get a free hot dog dinner. Dinner will include either tri-tip or cornish game hen, Sheridan beans, corn, coleslaw, and garlic bread along with a no-host bar including Great Basin Brewing beer, wine, soft drinks and water. There will be information regarding fire safety in the Wildland Urban Interface and how to create a Fire Safe Community to help lower home insurance rates, and an opportunity to sign up to become a volunteer with the East Fork Fire Protection District.
Tickets are available 6:30-8:30 p.m. every Tuesday at the station until Aug. 17 email at sheridanvfd8@gmail.com or leave a message at 775- 265-4590 and leave your name and contact information, number of tickets, dinner choice, tri-tip or game hen, and a volunteer will contact you to deliver the tickets and collect payment.
