ORDINANCE: 2024-1641

TITLE: Ordinance 2024-1641, an ordinance amending provisions of Chapter 10.08 of the Douglas County Code, relating to traffic Control Devices to restrict the passage of trucks on the portion of Johnson Lane from Nye Drive to the eastern terminus of Johnson Lane.

SUMMARY: Ordinance 2024-1641, an ordinance amending provisions of Chapter 10.08 of the Douglas County Code, relating to traffic Control Devices. The portion of Johnson Lane from Nye Drive to the eastern terminus of Johnson Lane has been heavily used for pedestrian, equestrian, and recreational purposes. Because heavy trucks have not historically used this section of Johnson Lane, the ordinance will restrict the passage of heavy trucks on the portion of Johnson Lane from Nye Drive to the eastern terminus of Johnson Lane and preserve its historic uses.

The 2nd Reading of this Ordinance will be held on 8/15/2024. A copy of this ordinance is on file in the Clerk’s Office for public review.
