10TH STREET SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT 

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 

GENERAL NOTICE: The Town of Minden, in the State of Nevada, (Owner) invites Sealed Bids for the construction of the 10th Street Sidewalk Improvement project (PWP # DO-2024-425) to be received by the Town of Minden, located at 1604 Esmeralda Avenue, Minden, Nevada 89423 until 10:00 am local time on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at which time, Sealed Bids will be publicly opened and read. 

PROJECT INCLUDES: Approximately 820 linear feet of new 5-foot-wide PCC sidewalk; removal, realignment, and replacement of PCC curb and gutter; new curb inlets with existing storm drain piping reconnected; grading; pavement patching; pavement sealing; and associated work as shown on the Project plans. 

PRE-BID CONFERENCE (NON-MANDATORY): Will be held at 10:00 am local time on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, in the Fortnightly Room at 1604 Esmeralda Avenue, Minden, Nevada 89423. Bids will be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid conference.

Bidding Documents in electronic format (PDF set via email) are available at no charge. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from Resource Concepts, Inc. (RCI) for a non-refundable fee of $50.00 per set. Make checks payable to Resource Concepts, Inc. Bidding Document fee does not include shipping charges. Bids may be examined at RCI Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm. 

Execution of an Agreement and submittal of performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the contract amount will be required within 10 days upon award of contract at the Town Board meeting (date to be determined) to the lowest responsible bidder. NRS 338.147 provides for a five percent (5%) bidder preference to bidders who establish that they qualify for preference.
