Members of the Carson Valley Photo Club discussed camera settings at their February in-person meeting.
“Very interesting outcome,” spokeswoman Nancy Hulsey said.
The club’s first outing was to the Minden Mill Distilling and was put on by N. J. Thompson.
As a club member, there will be many more, Hulsey said.
Past President Joe Clements judged the monthly photo contest, where the theme for the month of February was “Eyes.”
First place was awarded to Wendy Whymans and her photograph entitled “Lemme Outa Here.” The second and third place winner was Robin Grueninger. Grueninger’s second place was entitled “Cat Eyes.” “Eagle” was the third-place winning photograph.
“Congratulations to our winners,” Hulsey said.
The club is taking dues for past and new members.
They meet 6:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of the month at the Carson Valley United Methodist Church, 1375 Centerville Lane.
“In the event that we have an out of state program presenter then we will have a Zoom meeting from home,” Hulsey said. “You will be notified of this change. See you next month on March 12.”
