Genoa, Nev. — A reduction in staffing at China Spring Youth Camp is going to be required to balance its budget. The camp’s advisory board meets 10:30 a.m. today to determine a course of action that will be forwarded to county commissioners at their Thursday meeting.
After seeing that the Topaz Ranch Estates General Improvement District is sitting on $1.34 million in cash and investments, I expect county commissioners won’t be any more interested in taking over the district today than they were in October. I could be surprised, but without the district’s agreement, it doesn’t seem likely.
