Douglas High’s Reese Torres and Carson’s Thomas Burchett punched their tickets to the Class 5A boys state golf tournament Tuesday.
The Class 5A state tournament will be held at Mountain Falls Golf Club in Pahrump.
Both golfers finished with the same score over the two-day event, 170.
Torres shot an 83 in round one and an 87 in round two while Burchett put together back-to-back rounds of 85.
Somersett Golf and Country Club was the site of this spring’s Class 5A North regional tournament.
