Vietnam Moving Wall arrives in Carson Valley on Wednesday

The Moving Wall, a half-size replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C., will be displayed at Eastside Memorial Park over Memorial Day weekend with an opening ceremony conducted 10 a.m. Friday.

The wall is expected to arrive at the Carson Valley Inn in Minden on Wednesday before being escorted to Eastside Memorial starting 8 a.m. Thursday with set-up starting at 10 a.m.

Once it’s set up, the wall will be available to visit around the clock.

A community barbecue is 7 p.m. Sunday with the closing ceremony 7 p.m. on Memorial Day.
