Genoa, Nev. — Chains or four-wheel drive with snow tires are being required over Kingsbury Grade this morning. Road conditions are also in effect on Highway 88 above Woodfords Junction, Highway 89 from Picketts Junction and on Highway 50 over Echo Summit.
It was snowing lightly this morning in Carson Valley. Cameras at NVroads.com show some wet roads with some snow along the verges. Most spots across the Valley are running between 28-32 degrees, so it might get a little slick on the roads this morning.
County commissioners meet 3 p.m. today to canvass the Nov. 5 election results. Clerk-Treasurer Amy Burgans will present final results to commissioners in the historic Douglas County Courthouse in Minden.

A winter weather advisory is in effect until 7 p.m. today with a chance of less than half an inch in the Valley before 4 p.m. today. The high temperature today is forecast to hit 44 degrees under mostly cloudy skies.
