The Sierra Nevada Republican Women welcomed 14 veterans as guests to their Nov. 13 in Minden, where they were paid tribute for their service.
The veterans attending were from all service branches, including local newspaper editor Kurt Hildeband of the US Navy. Others included local men and women who were former military members.
Next month, the club will hold a Christmas party on Dec. 11 and install the newly elected Board Members for 2025. All local conservatives, Republicans, or non-partisans are invited to attend the club’s monthly meetings. The entry fee of $10 is waived for first-time visitors.
Meetings are held at COD Casino’s meeting room, 1593 Esmeralda Ave., Minden, and doors open at 11 a.m. Please email charmann@live.com to RSVP.
