A special meeting of the Water Conveyance Advisory Committee will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 4:00 pm. The meeting will be held at the Minden Inn, at 1594 Esmeralda Avenue, Room 306, Minden, NV 89423. The Water Conveyance Advisory Committee reserves the right to: take items in a different order; combine two or more agenda items for consideration; remove items from the agenda; and/or delay discussions relating to an item on the agenda at any time. The final agenda will be posted on the County’s website at http://douglascountynv.gov

For possible action. Discussion and possible action to approve with conditions, continue until corrected or deny the General Development Application DP 24-0213 for Muller Parkway road improvements which may impact irrigation facilities. The project seeks to construct two lanes of Muller Parkway, approximately 3.2 Miles in length, and generally located between Toler Lane and Heybourne Road. This application considers the road work located north of the project commonly referred to as Ashland Park Subdivision (APN: 1320-34-002-054) connecting to where Muller Parkway is currently built in Minden. The work is generally located within an existing road right of way but also includes encroachments onto the parcels listed in the table below.

The applicant is Douglas County and the project is being represented by the County Engineer, Jeremy Hutchings, PE.
For possible action. Discussion and possible action on General Development Application DP 24-0212 and Ordinance 2024-1644, amending Douglas County Code Chapter 2.56 to extend the term lengths served by members of the Water Conveyance Advisory Committee from two years to four years. The ordinance is being presented to the Water Conveyance Advisory Committee to receive their suggestions and recommendations, by the County Engineer, Jeremy Hutchings, PE.
