Douglas girls tennis beats Reed

Douglas High girls tennis took care of Reed on Friday by a final of 11-7.

Daisy Lehmann and Kiley Girdner both went unbeaten in singles.

In doubles, the pairing of Charlotte Bonar and Jasmine Shoemaker won two points while Ava Gildea and Annie Hill also snagged two points.

Naomi Mackenzie and Anna Patmont won the final Tiger point in doubles.

UP NEXT: Douglas (2-2) welcomed Spanish Springs (3-0) to Minden on Tuesday before traveling to Damonte Ranch (2-3) on Thursday.


TIGER BOYS TENNIS BACK IN ACTION

The Douglas boys tennis team was unable to play its match against Galena on Thursday due to the Davis Fire.

Douglas (1-3) traveled to Spanish Springs (4-0) on Tuesday before taking on Damonte Ranch (2-3) in Minden on Thursday.

 

TIGER VOLLEYBALL BEATS DAMONTE

Douglas High volleyball took care of winless Damonte Ranch late last week in four sets – 25-22, 25-10, 20-25, 25-18.

UP NEXT: Douglas (6-7, 3-4 in Class 5A North) hosted Carson (11-1, 3-1) on Tuesday and hosts McQueen (12-4, 4-3) on Thursday.


DOUGLAS SOCCER HITS THE ROAD

The Douglas girls soccer team (3-3) played at Bishop Manogue (7-2-1) on Tuesday.

On the boys side, Douglas (0-6) traveled to Reed (6-2-1) Monday night before Galena (4-1-1) comes to Minden Wednesday for a 6 p.m. kickoff.
