Twenty-one members in four flights competed for the 2024 Genoa Lakes Ladies’ Golf Club Championship crown during a two-day tournament played at the Ranch and Lakes courses in August.
Elizabeth Elwell was crowned the winner, with a gross score of 173. Second-place honors went to Peggy Lyon, who scored 177.
Flight winners were: Juanita Wells (flight 1); Dede Nieto, Jeanne Fadem (flight 2); Barb Wilson, Milly Seibel (flight 3); and Jeri Mihelic, Susan MacDonald (flight 4).
Membership in the Genoa Lakes Ladies’ Golf Club is open to women golfers 18 and over. The 2024 season will end Oct. 8. The 2025 season will begin the first Tuesday in April.
