The 4th annual Carson Valley Art Studio Tour of 10 studios with 19 artists and four galleries is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 12 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 13.
All artists will have their work for sale. The 2024 Tour includes the studios and artwork of artists Teri Sweeney, western watercolor; Carol Kennedy, porcelain painting; Lee Lewis, watercolor & silk; Pietro Accardi, mar-bled paper and fabric; Roger Kinnaman, pastels, oils & sculpture; Hank George, hand carved and painted wooden fish; Terri Dickerson, silver jewelry; Tina Forkner, Watercolor; Bob Fair-banks, bronze sculptures; PK Klein, multiple media – watercolor, acrylic, monotype and copper-plate prints, silversmithing, beaded jewelry; Michelle Mulligan, pottery; Melanie Walters, watercol-or; Irene Taylor, Watercolor, Batik and Ceramic Garden Art; Mark Harris, oil landscapes and Mark Thompkins, watercolor. Several studios have more than one artist, but all artists and their work are featured on the Studio Tour website CVASTour.org.
Printed and online studio maps will be available in September at local galleries and the Carson Valley Arts Council, 1572 U.S. Hwy 395 N, Minden, NV and participating galleries. In September, the Tour website CVASTour.org will also include an interactive online map and downloadable pdf file with the studios, galleries information and art examples and background for each artist. The website also includes a schedule of special demonstrations and music features. Visit eight studios or galleries to become eligible to win free art.
