The Kiwanis Club of Carson Valley is hosting its annual kid friendly Ham Bingo on Saturday at the CVIC Hall, 1604 Esmeralda Ave., Minden. There will be two bingo sessions; noon and 3 p.m. Doors open at 11:30 a.m.
Paper bingo cards are two for $1. Daubers available for $1 each. There is no limit to the number of games an individual may play at one time. Games will last until all hams are given away. A blackout grand prize is awarded at the end of each session.
Raffle tickets will be for sale at all sessions for prizes donated by community businesses and Kiwanis members. Free popcorn and coffee will be available. Hot dogs, chips, water and soft drinks will be available for purchase.
Helping the Kiwanians are sponsored service leadership clubs, including the Kiwanis Douglas High School Key Club and Kiwanis Aktion Club of Carson Valley.
The Kiwanis Club of Carson Valley conducts fundraisers throughout the year to support the Kiwanis scholarship fund and other initiatives that benefit local children and families.
Kiwanis is a worldwide service organization for men and women who want personal involvement in the leadership and improvement of their communities. The group focuses on the welfare of youth in the community.
