Members of the Sierra Intermountain Emergency Radio Association elected club officers and the board of directors at their December 2024 Meeting.
The officers are President Bill Holmes K7DUY, Vice President Ed Terlou KG7ZOP, Treasurer MaryLou Gervie, Membership and Board Member Chuck Gerie, K7PGI, Secretary Shelly and Roy Lothringer KC6ZOW and N8SLD, Directors Jim Marshall K6LR, David Granish KI6EWK, Mel Hogan WA6EYD, and Bob Yandow K7GUU.
Besides being able to communicate all over the world, SIERA Amateur Radio Club provides radio communications for community events such as Nevada Day parade, Pony Express re-ride, Death ride, Alta Alpina bike tour, and many others.
SIERA Amateur Radio Club holds its meeting at Carson Valley United Methodist Church, 1375 Centerville Lane on the first Saturday of the month.
Anyone interested in obtaining an amateur radio license is welcome to attend.
