East Fork firefighters responded to a fire alarm 7 a.m. Monday at Bently Nevada that resulted in workers evacuating into single-digit temperatures. The heater sent light smoke into the kitchen setting off the alarm, according to firefighters on scene.
Douglas County Library trustees will be talking about the capital improvement budget and the Law Library at their meeting 10 a.m. today at the Minden Branch, 1625 Library Lane off County Road. The Law Library has been housed at the library since 2020.
Genoa Historic District commissioners will discuss whether to certify as appropriate a shed at the Genoa Town Park and hear the 2024 annual report. They meet 4:30 p.m. in the Genoa Town Meeting Room.
