Elizabeth Pitcairn makes her annual return to perform with the Tahoe Symphony to showcase her technical prowess on the Stradivarius “Red” Mendelssohn violin.

The Douglas County performance is 3 p.m. Feb. 15 at the CVIC Hall, 1602 Esmeralda Ave., in Minden.

The program features romantic works by Saint Saëns, Borodin, and Chausson with plenty of fan-favorite encores from Pitcairn.
• Borodin: In The Steppes of Central Asia
• Saint Saëns: Suite in D, op 49
• Chausson: Poème for violin & orchestra
• Saint Saëns: Intro and Rondo Capriccioso
Concert performances will be conducted by Maestro Alex Eisenberg.

General admission is $30 for adults and $25 for seniors (over 65). Young persons, under age 23 (with ID), enjoy free admission. 

Premium seating is $75 adults, $70 for seniors (over 65) and Youth (Under 23 with ID) is $30. Preferred seating is $60 for adults, $55 for seniors (over 65), and Youth (Under 23 with ID) is $15. Tickets are also available at the door 30 minutes prior to the concert if not sold out.
