A meeting of the Douglas County Board of
Commissioners will be held on April 3, 2025, at
10:00 am, in the Douglas County Commissioner
Meeting Room at the Historic Courthouse, 1616
Eighth Street, Minden. The Board of County
Commissioners reserves the right to: take
items in a different order; combine two or more
agenda items for consideration; remove items
from the agenda; and/or delay discussions
relating to an item on the agenda at any time.

For possible action. Discussion of an appeal
of the Planning Commission’s decision to
approve Development Application DP24-0170, a
Design Review to replace an existing monopole
cell tower at 1450 Stephanie Way, within the
Johnson Lane community, with a new 80-foot
monopole cell tower and associated network
equipment. The equipment will be located
within a 30-foot by 30-foot fenced area and will
include network cabinets and a standby diesel
generator. The subject property is located in
the Public Facility (PF) zoning district within the
Johnson Lane Community Plan. The appellants
are Brian & Yvonne Stevens, and David
Magnotta. The appellants’ representative is W.
Scott McCollough, Esq. APN: 1420-27-401-011.

For possible action. Discussion of an appeal of
the Planning Commission’s decision to deny
Development Application DP24-0169, a Design
Review to install a new 80-foot monopole cell
tower and associated network equipment at
1699 County Road, within the Town of Minden.
The equipment will be located within a 15-foot
by 25-foot fenced area and will include network
cabinets and a standby diesel generator.
The subject property is located in the Public
Facility (PF) zoning district within the Minden
Community Plan. The appellant is Verizon
Wireless (Ginbar Ketema). The appellant’s
representative is Epic Wireless (Chris Hatch).
