A Gold Key Scholastic piece named ‘Mama’s Best Cupcake’ by Ani Kronenberg will be among the pieces on display at the Copeland Gallery starting Monday.
Douglas High School students will have their work on display starting Monday at the Copeland Gallery in Minden.
This exhibition presents mixed-media works that students have composed over a yearlong course of study under teacher Kelly Yost. The exhibition can be viewed 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday through May 2.
The arts council will host a reception for the student artists on 1-3 p.m. April 5. The reception is free and open to the public. The arts council welcomes visitors to interact with the artwork and the students.
“Carson Valley Arts Council is delighted to present work by Ms. Yost’s accomplished students,” said Executive Director Sharon Schlegel. “Their professional level of work presents accomplished and diverse mixed media creative achievements.”
