Carol L. Watkins of Minden, NV, passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on June 18, 2021. She is survived by her three children; Robert; Randall (Kelli); and Cindy (Christopher); her six grandchildren along with six great-grandchildren.
Carol graduated from Van Nuys High School where she met the Love of her life, Frank. They were married on June 1, 1955, and spent 64 wonderful years together until Frank’s passing in 2019.
Carol was born in Hollywood, CA. to Al and Minerva Rooner, who have also gone to heaven before her and have been waiting for her to be with them once again.
Carol worked for Kaiser Permanente in the San Fernando Valley for 20 years until retiring and moving to Minden, NV in 1994. Following Frank’s passing in 2019, she went to work once again and became an employee at the Carson Tahoe Hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held, time and date to be determined.
