Sadly, our community lost a beloved family member and friend on October 23rd, 2021. Peggy, known as “Peg” to many, passed away at home at the age of 69.
She was born to Robert and Helen O’Reilly on October 17th, 1952, in Ephrata, Washington. Her childhood took her to several states with the family eventually making their way to the Carson Valley in 1966, where she fell in love with its beauty, raised a family and made lifelong friends. She was a proud 1970 graduate of Douglas High School where she met and married her high school sweetheart and started a family. She was always up for an adventure, especially if it included music, a road trip, warm weather, meeting new people and of course laughter.
She is survived by her children; daughter, Mary Pedrojetti and her partner Jodi; son, Phillip Pedrojetti and his wife Ana; sister Kathleen Whaley and her husband Bob; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, too many friends to count and of course her devoted “Angels”.
An informal gathering to celebrate her life will be held at Heritage Park at 1:00 on October 30th. Please bring a chair and any stories and memories you would like to share.
In lieu of flowers consider a donation to the nonprofit organization, Tahoe paws and TLC 4 Furry Friends.
