William Marvin Tebeau passed away peacefully on February 1, 2022 in his home in Carson City, NV.
He was born in Guyton, GA on July 2, 1949, to Willie Martin (Billy) and Jewell Tebeau. He graduated from Effingham County High School. He attended Middle Georgia College and graduated from the University of Georgia in 1971 with a bachelor’s degree in Science with a Major in Chemistry. Upon graduation, he was employed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He continued building his experience with federal and state environmental permitting and natural resource management with the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection, and Environmental Protection Agency. Lastly, he worked for Resource Concepts, Inc., since Februaryof 1984 in Carson City, NV. Marvin served as RCI’s Principle Environmental Scientist and Project Manager for environmental and natural resource projects.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Billy and Jewell Tebeau.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandy Tebeau. Together, they shared an incredible 46 years together; His stepdaughter, Stephanie; Sisters Judy Zittrouer and Edie Beiner; Two Aunts, and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
A visitation will be taking place on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 11 O’clock in the morning, followed by a celebration of life at 12 O’clock in the afternoon at Fitzhenry’s Funeral Home, 3945 Fairview Drive, Carson City, NV. An interment will be taking place at a later time at his childhood hometown in the Guyton Cemetery, in Guyton GA.
