Louie Felipe Gomes passed away on February 12, 2022, at the age of 84.
Louie was born on May 28, 1937 in Fallon, Nevada to Louis and Mildred Gomes.
Louie joined the Marine Corp in March of 1958, served as a jet engine mechanic in Korea, he was very proud of his military service and loves America.
Louie married Helen Garrett in 1961 and the two shared 5 children, Lisa, Louie, Lori, Cindy, and Danielle. Louie was a long-time resident of Fallon, Nevada, having lived in many Nevada cities before retiring to Fallon.
He worked for several car dealerships selling cars land for many years until eventually retiring. He enjoyed selling cars and working with people.
He enjoyed metal detecting, fishing and loved animals especially his dogs.
Louie is survived by his children; Lisa Sullivan (Fallon, Nevada), Louie (Eureka, NV). Lori (Eureka, NV). Cindy Felton (Seattle, Washington), Danielle Montrose. Grandchildren; Ashley Melds, Justin Mowray, Christopher, Marty Jr. and Nicholas Felton. Great-grandchildren; D-Angelo, Demitrias. Sister- Pat (Jack Homeyer) Brother -Rhett (Janet) and many other friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his mother (Mildred) and father (Louis) and grandparents.
He loved his children and grandchildren immensely; they were a great source of joy and pride.
He liked all people but had little or no respect for people who don’t work for a living and don’t respect this country. He believed in traditional values and had difficulty understanding liberal scumbags.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the future at a date to be determined.
