Jack M. Fralinger, age 93, of Carson City, Nevada, passed on Sunday 14 November 2021, at home surrounded by his family.
Jack was an alumnus of the University of Maryland, College Park. After graduating, Jack enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where he was stationed in the Philippines. After the Air Force, Jack moved to Carson City where he met the love of his life, Audrey George. After they married they moved to Maryland and raised five children. In 1976 they moved back to Carson City. In 1977 Jack began working for Carson City Health Services as a health inspector. Jack retired in 1996 as Director.
Jack was preceded in death by his loving wife Audrey, his parents, Jack P and Katherine Fritog Fralinger, his sister, Gloria, and her husband Marvin C. Brooke, son Dandro E Fralinger and grandson Christopher Pendleton II.
Jack is survived by his children Frank D. (Wendy) Fralinger of Freeland, Mayland, Cheryl A. (John Payan) Fralinger of Carson City, Karen M. (Christohper Sr, deceased) Pendleton of Carson City, Nevada, Jack B. (Ona) Fralinger of Gallup, New Mexico, 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, Simon and Ona, and nieces and nephews. Jack is also survived by his close friend Ruth Vaughan.
There will be no services per Jack’s request. If you wish to honor Jack please donate to your local animal shelter or St. Labre Indian School (stlabre.org) in his name.
