On February 3, 2023, our loved one, Jim, passed away into God’s graces after an unexpected illness. An educator through life, he was 77 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Linda, of the home; a son, James D. Kolsky (Cathy), of Modesto, CA; a daughter, Janet, of Encino, CA; a stepdaughter, Lisa Bussy (Chuck), and a stepson, Christopher L. Peterson, both of El Dorado, AR; and two grandchildren, Carly and Jamie.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Kadlec Kolsky and his father, James Kolsky Sr., and his first wife, Jennifer Kolsky.
Jim did not want a funeral service or a memorial, so an open house at Jim’s home for family and friends wishing to pay their respects or share bits of warmth to honor his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Myositis Society would be nice. Open house will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, 2:00-5:00 P.M.
