Ellen Weisser Boone, 80 passed away peacefully in Carson City, Nv after her daughter Teresa, son-in-law Jimmy, grandchildren and great grandchildren had spent what time they had left with her. Ellen was born in Carson City, Nv. on May 15, 1942, to Martin and Clara Weisser and passed on February 21, 2023 at 1:52 am.
She is survived by:
Daughter - Teresa Vermilion and Son-In-Law - Jimmy Vermilion
Grandchildren - Jessica Allison, Lukas Butterfield, Derek Butterfield and Stevie Butterfield
Great Grandchildren - William Ciluaga, Clara Allison, Stella Allison, Amelia Butterfield and Willow Gatchell
Nieces and Nephew - Cathy Douglas, Susanne Adam, Debbie McMurtrey, Donna Pozzi, Darla Dale and Daryl Boone
Sister-In-Law - Marie Boone
Ellen grew up in Carson City, Nv. and graduated from Carson City High School in 1960. She married Daniel Boone on April 1, 1962, and had 2 children, Christine Boone and Teresa Vermilion. Ellen worked for and retired from the State of Nevada. In June of 2019, she moved in with her daughter and son-in-law Teresa and Jimmy who cared for her until her passing. There are no words to describe the loss that will be felt by the family and all of those who knew her. She was such a beautiful lady inside and out. She was a very kind, caring, giving and loving lady to the very end. She put everyone else first and was always there to count on. She had a love for animals. She and the animals had an unconditional love for each other. Ellen will always be missed and loved; she will remain in our hearts forever and never be forgotten.
In memory of Ellen Boone, for all those who would like to attend, there will be a viewing held at The Walton’s Chapel Of The Valley in Carson City on March 3, 2023 at 10am until 11:30am. After the viewing will be a funeral service at 11:30am followed by a graveside service.
