Avriel was a bright light in the lives of many. She was a daughter, sister, fiancé, friend granddaughter, and above all a mother.
Taken too soon, our beautiful Avriel passed away unexpectedly on December 28, 2022. She was born in South Lake Tahoe, California on March 30, 1988. Avriel grew up in Gardnerville, Nevada and graduated from Douglas High School in 2006. She graduated from WNC in 2013 with a deaf studies degree. Employed by the same Dermatologist for the past 11 years, she was dedicated and had a strong work ethic.
Avriel enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved fishing, camping, BBQing with friends, and having “sibling night” with her brothers and sister, which involved a home cooked meal and a tv series that they could only watch together. She loved music of any kind and was always up for a good concert. She was always up for a good time in general, whether it be floating down the river with her friends, going to plays, or just hanging and watching movies, you were sure to have a good time with Avriel. She had a contagious laugh, a great sense of humor with witty comebacks, and a smile that lit up a room.
She is survived by her mother, Susan (Gardnerville, NV), her father, Gary (St. Croix Falls, WI), her twin sister, Kayla, brothers Jared and Trevor, daughter Everly, whom she looked forward to being an amazing mother to, fiancé Rob, and Grandma Diane (West Haven, CT).
Avriel was a loving daughter, sister, Mom, fiancé, granddaughter, and friend and will be greatly missed.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation for all the love, and support received during this difficult time.
There will be a celebration of life in the coming weeks with more information to follow.
