Marianne M. Isaacs, age 70 years, passed away January 16th, while at home in Minden surrounded by family and under the care of hospice.
Marianne grew up in Stockton, California, and attended local schools. She received her Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Humphreys College in Stockton.
Marianne and her husband Bill both retired in 2005 from their jobs in California and relocated to Minden. Marianne had been an office manager at the Cooperative Extension in San Joaquin County, California for 19 years, and after moving to Minden worked 5 years as an Administrative Analyst for the Department of Transportation. Marianne was skilled in areas of technology. She enjoyed card games including cribbage and Poker. Marianne also enjoyed playing Bunco with friends. She was an “Avid” SF Giants baseball fan and SF 49ers Football Fan. Marianne had an infectious laugh as mentioned by a number of friends.
She is survived by her husband Bill of 47 years, sons Michael Isaacs of Lakewood, Colorado, and Scott Isaacs of Minden. Also a sister, Patti (Roger) Wilbur of Gold River, California, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial will be private. Friends and family will celebrate Marianne’s life at a later date. Donations if desired may be made to the Myositis Association (Online) in remembrance of this wonderful Girl.
