Howard Dale Adamson

On Monday, July 3, Howard Dale Adamson, a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, & Friend passed away. He was seventy-nine.

Born to Roxford Howard & Irene Pearl in Ely, Nevada. He attended Carson High School and then joined the National Guard in Carson City, where he became a mechanic.

Howard lived in the Carson & Dayton areas for over 58 years where he met the love of his life Jerie Cowperthwaite and was married on October 1, 1993.

He enjoyed spending time with his children & grandchildren, exploring the countryside with Jerie on their quad, hunting, and sharing stories & laughing with family & friends!

Howard is survived by his wife Jerie of Dayton, NV, son Justin Murray Adamson of Florence, Oregon, daughters Sarah Grace Dooley (Adam) and Kimberly Sue Riemer both of Waldport, Oregon, sister Rita Nevada Chestnut (Dale) of Battle Mt., Nevada, numerous grandchildren,
uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and a host of friends & family.

He is preceded in death by his parents Roxford Howard & Irene Pearl Adamson, son Daniel Howard Adamson, brothers Walter Winfield and Paul Allen Adamson, half-sisters Florene Andrea Maine and Bara Buffalo-hide Runningfisher.

Howard (aka Howie or Moji) was a compassionate, good-hearted, & caring soul that will be deeply missed.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023, 10:00 a.m., at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery located at 14 Veterans Way, Fernley, Nevada 89408
