Terry Hansen peacefully passed away in his home surrounded by loved ones on June 19, 2023, in Gardnerville, NV.
Terry has always been the type to find the good in every situation. While the last few years have been challenging, he always made each day worth it.
Terry was a man of many talents, always willing to help those in need. Terry loved life and the wonderful people whom he called family and friends. Terry especially cherished being "BeeBaw" to his three granddaughters. Terry was a man who always loved sharing his hobbies with his family.
On any given day, Terry could be found enjoying the great outdoors. Whether it was skiing down the mountain or casting a fishing pole in the lake, Terry was always up for the adventure. When not outside, you would catch him watching his beloved Dodgers.
Terry has been an active part of the Carson Valley from his friendly postal carrier days to his over twenty-year involvement with the Kids Fishing Derby and the Douglas County Ski Club. Terry was simply a joy to all and will be deeply missed.
Terry is preceded in death by his first wife, Geri Hansen, and by his brother, Thomas Hansen.
He is survived by his wife Stacy, his daughter Tarah, his son Trevor and daughter-in-law Neeka, his grandchildren Ava, Annie, and Abigail, his parents James and Anna Hansen, his sister Kathee Ross, his brother Pat Hansen, his stepchildren Jessica, and Matthew Drinkwine, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He will be forever loved and missed by all.
