Jerri was born on a farm in Canistota, South Dakota, where she lived until she was 22 years old. She moved to Anaheim, California in 1960 and she was employed by Keystone Savings and Loan through 1969 when she sought employment as a Business Representative at Retail Clerks Union Local 324 and worked there until she retired in 1989.
Jerri married Bob Gable in 1988 and they moved to Gardnerville, Nevada where they enjoyed many outdoor activities. Jerri was obsessed with the outdoors and wildlife. While in Nevada, Jerri also volunteered for several organizations including China Springs Youth Camp where she volunteered for 10 years and was known as the resident Grandma to the young residents.
Jerri is preceded in death by her husband Bob, her daughter Carla, her parents Arthur and Cecilia, as well as 3 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by her daughter Vicki Schroyer, her son Timothy Gable, her grandchildren, Brandon Gable, Brandi Fruin, and Jennifer Bays, and her great grandchildren Taylor Fruin and Zach Fruin, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, plus many friends.
