It is with broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our 13-year-old daughter, Story Wren Worth.
Story was born on May 8th, 2010, in Reno, Nevada, bringing an abundance of happiness and love into our lives from the very beginning. Although Story's time with us was tragically cut short, she leaves behind a legacy of kindness, joy, and an unwavering love for life that touched an entire community.
An artist at heart, Story found passion in singing, writing, dancing, crafting, and creating YouTube videos. She loved to watch scary movies, draw, snuggle, experiment with makeup and hair, crochet/knit, eat popcorn, shop for the tiniest treasures, eat at Starbucks, collect stuffies, and bedazzle everything in sight. Aside from the arts, Story also loved golfing, rollerblading, going on walks, and riding her skateboard. She cherished every moment spent with her family, friends, and pets.
Her laughter and smile were infectious.
Story departed this world on Saturday, September 9th, 2023, at 6:34 AM. Still, we know that her spirit will continue to shine as a guiding star in our hearts and that her memory will inspire us to live each day with the same joy, love, and compassion that she gave so freely during her short time here with us.
A celebration of Story's life will be held at Piper’s Opera House in Virginia City, NV on Sunday 10/29/23 at 12:30 PM.
Story is survived by her mother Aubrey Lynn (Pierce), fathers Jesse Worth and Ray Marshall; sisters Christine and Jessie Worth; grandmothers Pam Montoya, Gay Worth, Margaret Lynn, and Terry Marshall; grandfathers Rankin Lynn, Tim Worth, and Ray Marshall Sr.; aunt Meagan Montoya, and uncles Morgan Montoya, Casey Curcie, and Wess Worth.
