Jeff was born on July 21, 1979, at Carson Tahoe Hospital to parents Marva Ecklund Gordon and Eugene Williford. Jeff lost his battle to stage 4 melanoma on April 5, 2024.
Jeff attended Carson City School District graduating from Carson High School in 1998. He began his 23-year award winning tattoo journey at a friend’s house, later starting an apprenticeship at Empire Tattoo. At that moment he knew what he wanted to do in life! All his friends’ skin became his blank canvas with his sister as his very first canvas! He went on continuing his career at Tattoo Revolution, Ruby Lantern, and most recently Crystal Dagger. Jeff was an incredibly talented man and when he wasn’t tattooing, you would find him painting or building tattoo machines.
Jeff was recently described by one of his clients as a talented, all-around great person, a little stubborn, and opinionated at times but always honest whether you liked it or not.
Preceded in death by his father, Eugene Williford, stepfather, Robert Gordon, grandparents, Marvin and Shirley Ecklund, and uncle, Dale Ecklund.
Survived by children, Clayton Crosby of Oakland CA and Adeline Williford of Carson City, beloved mother, Marva Ecklund Gordon, brother, Michael Williford, sister, Dyana Melanaphy (Patrick), nieces, Melody and Ryley Melanaphy, nephew, Aiden Melanaphy all of Carson City.
