Madaline Fern Pugh Yoho was born on December 3, 1922, in Missouri Valley, IA and passed away on April 6, 2024, in Carson City, NV. She attended Benson HS in Omaha, NE and Golden West College AA Accounting in Westminster, CA. She married the love of her life on December 14, 1944.
Madaline was the Matriarch of her family. She opened her home when the family was in need. Took several trips abroad and enjoyed every moment of her life with loved ones. She was an avid reader, crocheted, made quilts and was always up on the latest news of politics.
She was loved by her family whom she gave to always, enjoying meeting her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was rich with love and her family took great pleasure talking to her about how it was during her time compared to today.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Worthy Matron and earning a special honor for her years of service as a secretary.
She is preceded in death by her husband Donald Yoho Sr, sisters Paula Brown, Maxine Farley, daughter Jean Marie, Grandsons Donald Yoho III and Jerry Lee Yoho.
She is survived by her brother Lee Allen Pugh, Her Children, Donald (Sharon) Yoho Jr, Edward (Faye) Yoho Sr, Penny (Andrew) Smith, Madaline Fern Yoho Jr, her Grand Children Edward Yoho Jr, Renee Allen, Steven Bittinger Jr, Kelly Yoho, Andrew Smith Jr, Elizabeth McBee, Patrick Bittinger, Larry Hanson, Daniel Yoho, Anthony Smith, Alan Smith, and Madelyn Kauffman along with many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Madaline will be remembered by her family as her legacy continues through her loved ones.
A graveside service will be at the Sunset View Cemetery in Jackson, CA on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity.
