Keith passed away on January 14, 2024. Keith was born in December 1936 in Hanover, Kansas, to Frank and Hilda Ebeling.
Keith spent his formative years in Hanover, Kansas. After graduating from Hanover High School, he enlisted in the Navy. Keith was stationed in Glynco, Brunswick, Georgia where he was an air traffic controller. He finished his Naval career as a reservist in 1962.
Upon completion of his Naval service, Keith attended Kansas State University, where he studied pre-law. While attending Kansas State, he met and married his wife, Dianne Depenbrink. They were married at Seven-Dolors Catholic church in Manhattan, Kansas. Before his passing, Keith and Dianne had celebrated 63 years of marriage.
Keith spent 26 years of his career at NCR becoming a regional director of Western Nevada and Northern California. He retired in 2008 after consulting for Computer land in Boise, Idaho.
One of Keith’s many hobbies included hunting for the “elusive” Nevada chukar! His retirement years were spent traveling, golfing, and fishing. Keith also enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams, the 49ers, Golden State Warriors, Kansas State and Boise State. Upon moving back to
Nevada, he switched allegiance to the Nevada Wolfpack.
Keith is survived by his wife Dianne, their children Denise (Mark), Stephanie (Brent), Ryan (Daniela) and his grandchildren Eric, Evan, Lucia, and Hugo.
A celebration of life well lived will be held in the spring.
