January 7, 2024, sadly marked the passing of Sandra L. Morigeau, age, 75.
She was a beloved mother, wife, sister, auntie, grandma, gigi, and best friend.
Sandra was born on February 13, 1948, in Ontario, Canada. She grew up in International Falls, MN, eventually finding her heart's home in Nevada, where she resided for over four decades. It was in Nevada that she met and married the love of her life, Paul Morigeau.
Sandra is survived by her two daughters, one sister, one brother, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, as well as a vast circle of lifelong friends.
Her infectious laughter, love for truth ("I tell it like it is, like it or not."), boundless generosity, and deep compassion for pets and humanity will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
She enjoyed a hearty belly laugh, trips, and cruises with her beloved Paul, cheering for the Minnesota Vikings, and a good game of golf. She knew the words and would sing to any old country song. Whether it was the dance floor or in her kitchen, she would dance with anyone willing to join.
A graveside service for family will take place on April 26, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at the Lone Mountain Cemetery, where she will reunite with Paul on what would have been their 43rd wedding anniversary. The service will be followed by a Celebration of Life for all at Mallards at Empire Ranch from 1:00-3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider donating in Sandra's name to Friends in Service Helping (FISH) or a charity of your choice that supports the homeless or pets, reflecting her enduring love for both humanity and animals
