We are deeply saddened and heartbroken to announce the passing of Lois Virginia King, 91 of Fallon, Nevada.
Lois was born to William and Essie Paramore on February 23, 1933, in North Carolina. She passed peacefully on February 26, 2024, surrounded by loved ones in Fallon, Nevada following a brief illness.
Lois married William H. King Sr. in 1947 in Suffolk, Virginia. Together they raised four children. William (Billy), Sharon, Vera and Virginia. The family moved to Nevada in 1957. Lois and Bill Sr. were owner/operators of several Northern Nevada businesses including Terminal City at Vista Boulevard in Sparks, Terminal City Bar, Restaurant and Service Station in Fernley and King’s Trailer Court in Fernley.
Lois is preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill King Sr, daughter Virginia Brazzanovich, sister Dorothy Howell, grandsons Manuel Lopez and Michael King and great granddaughter Jayme King.
Lois is survived by her life partner Dennis Pacheco, son Billy King and wife Bobbie, daughter Sharon Killoran and husband Tim, daughter Vera Pixley, brother Billy Paramore, sisters Geraldine Matthews and Linda Smith, daughter in law Gail King and son in law Bob Brazzanovich. Lois, often called “Granny”, also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Lois also leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, 8 and many extended family members. We will all miss her dearly.
Services are on March 17, 2024, at 11 o’clock am at Walton’s Funeral Home located at 600 W. Second Street in Reno, Nevada. If you have a memory of Lois to share, either written or spoken, please feel free to do so at the service. Lunch will be served immediately following the service. A private burial will take place Monday March 18, 2024, at Churchill County Cemetery. FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS!!!!
