Alfred Joseph Corsini passed away on September 30, 2024, at the age of 91 in Minden, Nevada, where he lived with his wife Nancy for the past 21 years.
Al was born on January 8, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois. He attended the University of Illinois before serving in the Navy during the Korean War. He then attended the University of Southern California, where he received his Doctor of Pharmacology. Al worked as a pharmacist in Southern California for 46 years and ultimately retired as one of the head pharmacists of the San Pedro Peninsula Hospital/Little company of Mary San Pedro.
Al loved camping, fishing, playing tennis, and square dancing. He was always a phenomenal athlete. Al participated in track and field in high school, as well as football. He played for the Chicago Bears prior to joining the Navy.
Above all, Al was a caring, loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife Nancy of 37 years, his three children Dawn, Michael, and Christine, 9 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
