Rose Lees

February 12, 1958 - August 31,2024

Rose Lees 66 passed away Saturday August 31, 2024,
in Gardnerville Nevada with loved ones by her side.
Rosanna (Rose) Marie Lees was born February 12, 1958,
in Crescent City California to James and Dorene Gaddis.
Rose was the second oldest of four children. Rose moved
to Carson City Nevada in 1992 and moved to Gardnerville
Nevada when she met her Husband Michael (Mike) Lees.
Rose married her best friend and life partner Mike Lees in
2006, and they cherished every minute of their
18 years of marriage.

Rose had such a joyous personality and never knew
a stranger. She loved her community and talking to
everyone she saw. She always knew how to put a smile
on your face. Rose worked in customer service and
brought her family, friends, coworkers, customers, and
community joy and laughter with her stories or words of
kindness. She enjoyed reading, watching movies and old
television shows, shopping (especially for new Mickey
Mouse shirts and sweaters), spoiling her dogs, being out
in nature and spending time with her family.

Rose was proceeded in death by her father James
Gaddis, her daughter Crystal Dawn Hoy, her grandsons
Michael Jacoby Jr and Silas Johnson.

Rose is survived by her husband Mike Lees, her mother
Dorene Gaddis, her three brothers and sisters Barbara,
James and David, her Children Sarah (Travis), Bobby,
Dorene (Scott), and Angela, and her grandchildren
Josiah, Roya, MaryAnn, Hunter, Ilona, TaraLynn, Jordan,
Stephen, Gracie, Crystal, Braydan, Sami, Brea, Jaxon,
TaLila and her many great grandchildren.

Rose was loved and cherished by so many that there will
be two celebrations of life in her honor:

A celebration of life will be held at C.O.D Casino
1593 Esmeralda Ave, Minden, NV on September 28, 2024
@1:00pm at the Aspen for friends and
family of the community.

A Second celebration of life will be held in Fruitland Idaho
on October 26, 2024, for family.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made
to the America Cancer Society in Roses name.

Rose will be laid to rest in her hometown of Crescent City
California at a later date. Rose loved the peacefulness of
the ocean and enjoyed walking along the beach and took
joy in the beauty and spiritual nature of the redwoods and
wanted that to be her final resting place.
